About Us
Archives For The Clearing House is a FREE online article directory for both publishers and authors. Since the 1990's, Phillip Schein ran a computerized bulletin board service called The Clearing House BBS on the "World Wide Web". He was a small part of a group of computer enthusiasts who, with 1200- and 2400-baud modems, formed a world-wide network of "electronic-" or email-handlers (a human mail exchange) called FIDONET. Those efforts to communicate by computer grew into what we now recognize as the "old" IEEE standard, Simple Mail Transfer Protocol powered entirely by electrons!
Though the website name over time has evolved, Phil's business mission has remained the same. The Clearing House Website still distributes information and online digital content to people "jacked into" the Net. The Clearing House (TCHouse) offers editorial, marketing, and online publishing services in a Web 2.0 world through custom and syndicated distribution of value-added conent to website owners, ezine publishers, and the public.
